855 96 automat. Main seal and timing belt change 850

It was not so hard work. Took out the engine alone yesterday. 4,0 hours. started whit battery and aircleaner all tubing and cables on the radiator, then PS-pump,Alternator,AC-pump. Took away the harmonic balancer. Drive shaft holder on engine. Fuel lines behind engine. All screw from turbine and gearbox. And much more small things. My plan was to change engine but the engine was from a manual tranny so the crankshaft was not the same. So i vent to the volvo store fore new sealing. They hawe a new strengthen sealing. And i changed the timingbelt at the same time. With washing time and kaffe brakes it took 4+8 hours. So all of you ho hawe that problem and want to save $ do it yourselves. It aint so hard and difficult.

PS. No more oil smell and black spot after my 855.
