Euro Ride height V70-XC70

I have a 2001 V70 and I am curius if the ride height for European cars is the same as for US cars. The car doesn'r seem to handle as well as it should. I don't want to lower it with sport springs becuase I live in Colorado. I would like a lower more responsive ride. I am having the same issue with my VW Pasat wagon. I would be interesteded in buying Euro springs if they are lower and better suited to the cars dynamics.
