Guys,
Is there a way to maintain the evaporator such to minimize the posibility of failure? I understand that the evaporator location don't help, but is there a way?
I see (and this is on any car) that this is a common failure and extremely expensive to replace. Not only that, but most of the time, repairs that need to take a lot of things out, when put back together, they will never get to be the same. Let us discard the sealers (which are apparently great by the way) for discussion purposses.
I know newer Volvos has the blower comming on after 50 min. of engine being shot off, and it will run for 7 min. If this works on better maintaining the evaporator, can something like this be improvised for other vehicles?
Thanks in advance for your inputs.
Rene
