Evaporator Maintenance????????

I turn the AC off a few miles before my destination and run the
fan at a fairly high speed. I also set it to draw air from the
outside (instead of recirculate). I believe this may help a bit
but I do it more to reduce odors.

I think adding the pollen air filter to older 850s might also help.
It keeps leafs, and such, out of the air intake. Volvo sells a
kit for this.
