Alternator 850 1996

I recently (3 months ago) replaced the battery in my 1996 850 turbo. I returned from a 12 day vacation yesterday and found my car dead. I am pretty sure it's not the battery since I just got a new one. I also checked inside the car to see if I accidentally left anything on but I did not. What could be the cause of my battery dying over 12 days? Thank you.
