Which car do you think I should keep?

I have one too many car in the driveway, so need to sell either '93 944 n/a with 105k or '94 Nissan Maxima GXE with 65k (mi).

My dilemma is, both cars are running just fine, and I need to guess/decide which one will serve me better. The car will be used mostly for commuting, and occasionally to take young kids around town, but not for long trips. We have a family wagon for that.

944 pros :
- safe
- larger passenger & trunk

944 cons :
- had a/c problems (all fixed, but wondering if they'd return)
- sluggish (~110 hp?) compared to Maxima (make that compared to most cars)

Maxima pros :
- more power (~190 hp, more fun to drive)

Maxima cons :
- no ABS
- not as safe body (i.e., compared to 944)

FWD vs. RWD doesn't bother me on dry/wet/snowy roads. They are some 'convenience' features like keyless entry (Maxima), but things like that are not decisive factors for me.

944 was bought from a relative in '96 who maintained it at a volvo dealer at all times, and has been well maintained since then. Maxima was purchased new, and has been well maintained as well. Both have been running, and still run very well, never stranded me, never had engine, transmission, or other major problems, other than occasional brake and battery services. No body work ever done on either car.

Looking at the track records, Maxima has been (slightly) more troule-free so far , but my mother's '96 Maxima ran flawlessly till ~80k, and started giving transmission problem, and she ended up getting rid of it. So... the track record may not be the best indication of what's to expect of Maxima. I don't want to buy another car for 3-5 years. I'm guessing that I'll be driving ~12k a year.

So, anyone's got a crystal ball to tell reliability for the next 3-5 years? The decision is subjective, but I'd appreciate your input and/or suggestion. Thanks.
