Which car do you think I should keep?

Hmmm. Tough one. I carpooled for two years with a fellow who had a 93 Maxima SE (5-speed), which was waaay faster than the GXE with the slushbox. I owned a 945T or used my wife's 92 940 GLE.

I liked the Volvo's seats - after our 45 minute commute, the Maxima left me with an aching back.

Is your car young enough for the IPD camshaft? If so, you could pick up an easy dozen HP there.
