The Vehicle Ownners Right to Repair Act will be discussed in a Commerce Committee hearing on July 30, 2002 at 2:00 pm EST. This will be televised on CSPAN at 2:30 pm EST. This bill has alot to do with your local indy shop. You can read more about S2617 at Senate.com, but there seems be more info in the introducing statements made by Senator Wellstone. Donot look for this hearing to be transcribed in the near future as it requires a year or more for this to be published. For more info the Commerce Committee phone is 202-224-5115.
