Strange rubbing/moaning/groan front suspension S70 1998

How do I diagnose the source of a strange moaning noise seeming to come from the driver side front suspension. Most noticeable at lower speed turns anywhere from a few inches to full lock. I just had the steering stops greased up assuming that was related, it solved the full lock whine noise, but not this groan.

Any ideas/techniques/information is appreciated as always!
