Vibration when braking at higher speeds.... bad rotors???? S70

Hello All

My 98 S 70 has 69K miles on it. I had the brakes checked by the Volvo dealer and an independant mechanice. BOTH told me the pads are in perfect condition BUT neither of them mentioned anything about the rotors.

I also had new Bridgestone tires installed and balanced.

Everytime i brake coming off the highway or at higher speeds there is a constant vibration (coming from the rear i think)....

My educated guess is the rotors are warped..... now here is the questions...... do i change the rotors and leave the pads alone OR do i replace both of the pads and rotors.

My volvo dealer informed me when i needed new brakes for my 850 Wagon that the rotors on these models cannot be turned and need to be replaced!!!!!!!!!! Is this true????

What gives??? Any suggestions to my problem????
