My defroster doesn't seem to be blowing much air and it takes forever to clear the windshield, could a clogged cabin/pollen filter be the cause?
I also had the dash pulled apart this summer when they worked on the A/C - I'm also worried that they could of messed up the defroster plumbing when they had everything apart!
FYI - I just changed the filter (the old one had 45K on it). There seems to be a slight increase in air coming out of the defroster. But - when I removed the old filter, I noticed what looked like a flap below it, in-between the filter and the fan motor (behind the glove box). When I touched the flap it dropped down (its hinged) so now there is a clear path between the filter and the fan motor. Is that flap supposed to be up or down, or is it supposed to move depending on the fresh air / cabin air switch?
Thanks
