The top motor mount is going on my '95 850 GLT (117K miles). I have red a number of messages on how to replace it. It seems that every body changed that mount without removing the bracket it's attached to. I wonder if it would be easier to remove the bracket first, and then change the mount - no mess/rubber on the engine, easier to align the new mount. I am going to use the original volvo rubber bushing/mount. If anyone in fact did remove the bracket, post a message if it was worth the trouble (removing the bracket).
