What is an Air Pump? 850 1996

Hi all,

I am buying an O2 sensor for my father-in-law's 850 (auto, non-turbo). For the front sensor, there are two listed on FCP Groton's site; one for a car with an Air Pump and one without it. I don't think my father-in-law knows the difference, and therefore a waste of my time asking him. How can I tell if his car has one?
