Renew Volvo On Call Advantage? Any advantage? V70-XC70 1999

Dear Volvo fans (in the USA),
The factory warranty is almost over, and Volvo On Call Advantage is sending me letters informing me of the great benefits would be bestowed upon me if I renew the On Call service for only $69.99. My wife signed up for AAA about a year ago, so right now we have two roadside services. Can any of you offer any reasons whatsoever why the Volvo On Call offers anything more than AAA, which is cheaper? One big advantage of AAA is hotel discounts. A couple of nights in Boston more than paid for the cost of AAA membership. I have never used either service, so I cannot make any comparison regarding the speed of response, etc.
