Hi, I am getting vibration in the steering wheel while braking so I am guessing that my '99 T5A with 40K miles is in need of new front rotors. When I had my car into my friendly neighborhood dealer yesterday to have the window switch cluster replaced under warranty their interpretation was that warped rotors are a wear item and are not covered. So, eventually I will need to replace the rotors myself. I have seen the different online sites offering Balo, Zimmerman, and Brembo rotors for sale. I am not interested in power slot, cross-drilled, etc. I just want a basic rotor that is going to last a little longer than the ones the car came with. I have only had the car for 7 months so the previous owner may have improperly torqued the wheels. The place I bought the car from put new pads on and cut the rotors but we all know that doesn't last for long. Any advice on which rotor to get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
