850 HEADREST REMOVAL 850 1996

HELP! Have been wrestling w/ these "96 850 " headrests for a weeks now. (this is for front seats). I have successfully removed headrests on our 740 before,
but these won't budge.Release points feel same-- @ 5-6 inches straight down on back of seat. I've also had a helper to pull at the headrest-----.Any advice?
