I have recently noticed on my '98 XC that my auto transmission is rather slugish or mushy when shifting from 1st to 2nd...not crisp like it use to be. I checked the fluid and found it to already be brownish in color. I say already because I just had the system flushed about 6 weeks ago to fix the 60 mph slam problem. I'm thinking that it should still be nice and red. Should I be alarmed? Car has 70K on it.
