I'm a stoked owner of a '03 S80 with that awesome platinum green paint. Massive step up from a POS Ford Taurus I mite add. I'm a little nervous that Ford owns Volvo, hopefully its more of a hands off relationship. Any way want to do the right thing right from the start and you guys are the experts I trust.. I've been told by the salesman that no service is needed until 7500 miles. Shouldn't that oil be swapped out after about 1000-1200 miles? Which type of oil do you use? 10w-30 for summer 5w-30 for winter? Any advantages going with moble 1 after the 1st change? Which fuel grade do you recommend? I've been told that mid grade is ok. The dealer said they use 87 in all their cars. The book says 91 but 87 will work. Any help here is appreciated. So far I'm blown away at how nice this car is.
