horn dead :) 850 1995

well iwas driving and the horned was working properly on moment , the other its dead, no sound no nothing, i checked the fuse, its ok,
well know im curiouse could both hornes(the two peaces) be dead at the same time or are they serialy connected, so if one dies the other stops working, or is this something else?
