Green Light Next to Headlight Switch..What is it? 850

Tonight, while driving a gren light i'd never seen before illuminated. to the left of the top headlight switch light (like this C=) there was a small green rectangle with a picture of two lights. It then went off. Are these foglight lights, my '93 dosent have fogs. I didnt find any reference to the green light in the manual.
