Green Light Next to Headlight Switch..What is it? 850

You may have the rear foglight on (I think all years have one).
This turns on one rear brake light. I've seen a few volvos
driving around with it on and suspect it is something many
owners don't know about. There is a dash swich near the light
switch that turns it on.
