I have a 1996 volvo 850 NA 5 speed. Im looking for tires for my car. Currecntly i have MXV4 plus tires and am reasonably happy, however i can feel some sidewall flex in cornering, no big deal, but is there better for less?
i had bfgooridch comp ta's on my honda i notice there is a tire offered in the 195 60 R15 (im looking at the HR4), i have heard no mention at all on the board of bf goodrich. Anyone have them?
the trick is i go to school in iowa and i need tires that work good in the snow. Also i must have tires that last a long time at least 40k, since im putting about 20 to 25 k a year on the car.
any ideas? Im tempted to go with the michelin again, what about going with a 205 55 or 50 R15? That would probably reduce sidewall flex. However the Bfgoodrich were great on the honda, but the honda was literally half the weight of my volvo and a very differnt car at that.
i do recall a discussion on tires but i cant seem to find it, if someone has it bookmarked i would appreciate the link.
