I have had this no start condition 2 times over the past 2 months.
This is what happened.
Both times my wife got in the car and it did not immediately start.
After that I could crank and crank it and it wouldn't fire-up.
I have A new CAP, ROTOR, SPARK PLUGS, and WIRES.
I pulled the plugs and cranked the engine over and I can see a nice spark
on the spark plug electrode. I tried disconnecting the AMM and the engine would not start. I eventually sprayed in some starting fluid and cranked the
starter for about 30 seconds and eventually got it to start.
It took about a minute for the idle to smooth out. Then I take it for a test drive and everything is fine.
The only thing I can remember that is constant between both incidents is that I had previously moved the car in the driveway (quick sart and stop) and the level in the gas tank was around 5 gallons of gas.
I wonder if there is a possibility that I am loosing fuel pressuere.
Maybe others have experienced a similar deal.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thaks in advance, Jack W.
