If it has all of the genuine R features & trim (suede inserts in seats, different kickplate, airdam,alloys etc) it is unlikely anyone would have gone to the trouble and expense to create an imitation but you never know.Where in Oz are you? I'm in W.A. - email me and I can give you the details of someone who generally has production numbers and colours of R cars and their country of destination/VIN numbers, this might help.

Don't necessarily rely on original purchase papers either. Mine say T5-R but it certainly aint(I wish).
