The car has 38,000 miles on it. About a 1,000 miles ago, I had changed a mass air flow meter, a throttle body and had full service carried at a volvo dealer. More recently the gas pedal was changed too. The car is working ok at idle speed and can rev quite well. During driving, however, the car loses power at 3,000 rpm and cannot kick down. It is ok to drive at low rev's say 2,000 - 2,500. The problem is more severe when the car warms up after some driving. I had the car driven back hope in limp mode, being very gentle on the gas pedal and being carefull not to exceed 2,000 rev's. The car certainly does not like hills, may be because the car will need to be driven harder and at 2,500 rev's it loses power. There are no warning lights on the car's OBC and the dealer cannot find anything wrong with it. the car will be taken back to them July the 15th, after they will have a full feedback from Volvo Sweeden. Did anyone out there have the same problem? Can anyone give some help here, coming out of experience? Waiting for you help.
