Battery Charge may have blown my computer S70 1998

Battery died on my S70 over the weekend. I tried to charge it with cables to my wife's minivan. Car started to crank but wouldn't turn over. When I looked down at the dash, I noticed that the odometer read 999,999 and clock was out. I replaced the battery and when I drove for the first time, speedometer wouldn't work, tach registers high although not revving that high, odometer registers 5/10ths of a mile for every 2/10ths and the ABS/Tracs Off lights are both on. AND the Service light is continually blinking. Tried disconnecting battery for 12 hours but to no avail.

Went to my mechanic who tried to check out thru OBDII but came back with no code errors, nor could he fix.

I assume its the computer and I will have to bring into the dealer. Does anyone have any other ideas? How much do you think this will cost? A fortune I'm sure.

Thanks,
Cliff Wasser
