Battery Charge may have blown my computer S70 1998

Have you tried re-setting the combo/trip computer at the dash? Also, make sure new battery is not a dud. These cars need to have perfect power connections or strange things happen. If in doubt, disconnect the battery again and restart the procedure. If all fails, drive it for awhile and see if anything happens before you seek a dealer. Good luck.
