I am about to replace my timing belt for the second time. Have 140,000 miles on the 95 non-turbo 850. I did not have a concern about the condition of the belt tension or tensioner at 70,000 (the first time). Should I at 140,000? I do not have the special tool to check tension. Can a serpentine or v belt tension tester be used? Does any one know the history on the 850 belt tensioner? Is there any documentation regarding failure, or expected or historical life?
