Buying and 850 Turbo 850

I'm in the market for an 850 wagon to replace my ailing '90 240. Something zippy would be nice. Can someone please explain the difference between the GLT, Turbo, T-5, and R models AND MOST IMPORTANTLY identify problems associated with any of these? Please indicate year models that are problematic or best avoided. What should I look for when considering a pre-loved turbo?
