Delimination/Bubbling Door Panels S70

I have a 2000 S70 GLT with 45,000 miles and 3 months left on my warranty. I used to live in Houston, TX (high temps. & humidity). Both rear door panels have slight delamination/bubbling problems around the arm rests. It's not too bad; no passengers sitting back there even notice it (yet!). My questions are as follows:

I am now living on Long Island, NY (hot/humid summers) and, knowing my warranty is about to expire, I brought this problem to the attention of my local Volvo dealer. Since this delamination/bubbling problem isn't that bad yet, can I wait until the delamination/bubbling on these doors gets worse (possibly months or years after my warranty has expired) before Volvo fixes this problem (at no charge to me)? Or, must I have this repaired prior to the expiration of my warranty even though the problem has been documented by a Volvo dealer?

I am on Long Island, NY. Can you recommend a dealer (or aftermarket auto upholsterer) competent in making this type of repair in my area? If I don't use a Volvo dealer for this repair, will my warranty cover the aftermarket upholsterer's work/cost?

My other concerns are as follows:

Are the Volvo dealers still/now using those crappy door panel kits I have read about in the archives here? Can I request that those panels NOT be used and the repair be done while preserving the current door panel material on my vehicle?

I had a sagging-headliner problem in my 96 Infiniti G20 before I had my Volvo. The dealer made this repair using an ammonia-based adhesive which made the car interior REEK like it had been sprayed by cat urine. The smell would not go away and worsened with high humidity. The Infiniti dealer never made good on correcting (or even admitting fault) on that side-effect of the repair. Obviously, I do not want to have that problem this time. Do you know what type of adhesive the Volvo dealer will be using (and what it will smell like after being applied)?

Thank you for your assistance.
