The ignition key has 3 positions, the 3rd is when the engine starts. Turn key to position 1 (you will hear a click), then depress the odometer button. Hold the odometer button down while turning key to position 2 (you will hear a click). The service light turns on and wait a few seconds until the light starts blinking. At this point release the odometer button. The service light should now completely disappear.
