850 GLT not shifting 850 1993

I have an 850 GLT with about 116,000. It had a rebuilt transmission at 90,000. Now that the weather has cooled off, when I first start the car in the morning, the car will not shift out of first. The car is an automatic and it almost feels the same as if you were in a standard, and had it in first and were just revving it up. (RPMS go up to 3-4) After about 3-4 minutes the car shifts fine and this does not happen the rest of the day. Any ideas?
