I just got a 1995 850 wagon with 100k.
The suspension is rough compared to my moms 98 V70 with 86k.
I imagine no suspension work has been done on this car. From the reading I have done here, for suspension maintenance, I plan on having to replace
Front Strut Assemblies Bilstein Touring Class
Front Strut Mounts
Front Strut Spring Seats
Front Sway Bar Links Volvo OEM
Front Coil Springs (possibly)
- -
Rear Shock Absorbers Bilstein Touring Class
Rear Shock Mounts
Rear Heavy Duty Coil Springs (possibly - covers me for towing, etc
- -
Rotors all the way around Zimmermans
Raybestos Quiet Stop Ceramic Pads in the Front
Raybestos (non-ceramic) or other pads in the Rear
What would indicate whether or not the control arm should be replaced, and would the whole arm need to be replaced, or just the bushings?
As you can tell, I am new to the suspension thing, so if there is anything else I should do, please let me know.
Thanx
