Dissappointed in Volvo 850 1997

I've had a 1997 850R since new (wifes car actually). A blast to drive but niggling problems ALL the time - sunroof electrical, rattles galore, 5 sets of brakes and discs in 90,000 miles and they're continually warped (even tried cross-drilled but they only lasted 15,000 miles), many bubbles in the sidewalls of the P-Zero tires (poor choice for this car), brake pedal has been soft since new dispite repeated bleeding, and many others but the two grand-prize winners are:

Failed front right drive shaft and Volvo wanted over $900 JUST FOR THE PART!!! Bloody Outrageous.

AND

Continuous intermittent failure of the ABS and Traction control system, which many have complained about and Volvo has done NOTHING about. How can they claim to be safety conscious when they ignore this frequent and serious safety issue - I just don't know when my ABS is going to work.

We just traded the Volvo for a Lexus. More reliable and cheaper parts (I checked) although I probably won't need them. Bye bye brick.
