Maybe ridding myself of 850 w/o tranny 850

Okay, so I may be giving up my 93 850 with a shot transmission. Question is, how much is it worth? $1500? $2000? More? If anyone can give me an idea of how much I could expect from this car in its present condition that'd be great. Basically, I have a Volvo 854 GLT that is
-teal
-Volvo roof racks
-very few dings (a couple here and there), great shape
-black leather seats, excellent shape (look more like a late 90's seats... very little wear except slight in drivers' seat)
-stereo minus one speaker in the rear deck (blown out and afterwards removed by me)
-EXTREMELY CLEAN
-no rust whatsoever
-134k miles (80% highway)
-engine purrs and idles wonderfully!
-Perfectly maintained by Volvo independent mechanic from 89k, 90k service performed by same person. Before I bought it at 89k oil was changed every 5000 miles, after I got it every 3000-4000.
-2nd owner, knew first owner personally, and he maintained it well also.

I'm a nut about maintenence, and I always get my mechanic to look at ANYTHING before I buy. My other option is to get a rebuilt tranny directly from Volvo installed by him. Would it be worth it to throw that in then sell it? Or just rid myself of it now? Well, I'll be making a decision about keeping or selling it this week, so I will take pics and have them ready to email midweek if anyone wants to make offers as well, so I can run them by my mechanic and see what he thinks would be the most economically sound decision. Shoot your thoughts/opinions/offers to moncureww@hotmail.com. Thanks so much Brickboarders!!!
