Greetings, just an update. I replaced my whining blower motor last night. I figured "Hey - it's Cincinnati in January, 22 degrees, why not? As always, Bay 13's instructions were brilliant (thanks again Rich). All you need is a Torx driver set, 13 mm socket, and some screwdrivers to pry with. I was told it would take about an hour, but in my experience, one should allow 2 hours. The hardest part by far was unclipping all of the wire connectors on the housing. Being so cold, I was afraid of snapping the connectors, but no worries. So for those of you experiencing that whining sound from your fan, get to it. It's not too bad. FCP Groton took care of me again with their very expedient shipping. $148 including whole new part & shipping.
Just FYI.
