Oil Dripping from Transmission? 850 1995

I recently noticed a small oil pool on my garage door floor. I just had an oil change and check my levels regularly (all full) so I brought it in to my local pep boys type establishment to just take a look under the car. I'm not mechanically inclined at all but I do take car of my car with regular servicing, etc. & I figured it would be a loose filter or something. The guy told me that the filter was tight and that it was completly dry around my engine bay. The only place he found oil dripping was from the tranmission area. I'm just quoting him here, as I don't really know much about the inner working of my brick, but he had this expression of 'How did oil get there?'.

I'm bringing my car in on Groundhog's day for a 120K service (it was the soonest i could get an appt) and carry around 5W30 in case my levels are low. Should I just watch my levels and wait for three weeks or do I need to have this taken care of now? The car seems to run really well (as usual) but I don't want to chance anything. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
