In dash cup holder V70-XC70 2002

I recently tried to have the in dash cup holder fixed (doesn't ratchet to smaller size) for the second time and the dealer stated that the company no longer made the ratchet part. Thus I now have a useless cup holder. Anyone having similar problems?
