Daytime Running Lights 850

"Pedro" mentioned I can turn these off by turning the screw on the headlight switch. I did this but nothing happened, but also notice it is spring loaded. Even depressing the screw and turning it did nothing. I checked the owners manual and there is nothing in it to describe how to turn the DRL off. Can anyone tell me how, if it is possible?
