Brake Skreech When Pedal Not Applied S70 1998

Hi all,
Just had the rotors replaced by the local Volvo dealer, and was told the pads were fine. But...the pads are squeaking when there is no pressure applied to the brake pedal. They're telling me over the phone that the after market pads are doing it. This makes no sense to me. Obviously the pads are too close to the rotors. Is there an adjustment I can make to stop the noise? Another odd thing...the squeaking gets louder when turning to the right, and sometimes stops when turning to the left. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
