850 Manual Trans Fluid 850 1993

What transmission fluid are folks using in an 850 Manual Trans. Haynes states "volvo Synthetic". Car manual states, Volvo Synthetic or ATF - Type F. I was going to use Mobil 1 Synthetic which states Dextron and Mercon.

Any suggestions? What have people used?
