Fuel Door Release/Electrical problems S70

Hello All

I have had this problem going on for the last 2 years.

Intermittently (withouht any reason) my door lock button on the driver side power window control panel stops working.

This in turn causes my fuel door release and trunk release buttons not to work.

Many times i have had to break the fuel door lid latch ($3 replacement from Volvo) only to have the inside door locks begin working again (mysteriously) and thefore allowing the fuel door release to work.

Obviously both are interconnected, has this happened to anyone???

My problem comes and goes and I have learned to live with it. I carry an extra clip for my fuel door release. Sometimes I have to break the lid fill my gas, then somehow everything works again.

Any advice?
