Help Please 850

Who knows what this could be -

Within 5000 miles I have replaced the ball joints, bearings (front), and shocks. One of the wheels, if not both, is producing a sound similar to that of a bad bearing. It sounds similar to two metal sprockets winding - the pitch increases as my speed gets higher. The hum starts to become inaudible around 75, but returns at around 80 - maybe harmonic motion? I originally thought it was my new tires, but there is no odd tread wear or bulges.

Could this be related to the axle/CV joints? Do you think an OEM bearing would have gone bad within 5000 miles???? The previous bearings produced similar sounds, only harsher and not as even in tone.

Thanks for your thoughts - this is the last Volvo I will own.
Ryan
