Help Please 850

I have owned 2 different Volvos a 760 & 850, both purchased used. With each, I threw several thousand into them within a couple of years of purchase to make everything right. As you describle, this is a bit of a bummer.

But, once you get the car right, presuming the previous owner(s) have not permanently damaged the car, the car will run and last for a long long time. Your frustration is due to work that the previous owner has evaded and now you are stuck. Volvos are worth the investment, you will be repaid. Hang in there.
