Here I am defending Volvo's honor when I also worry about the quality of their products, but I'm interested in this car to continue as a Volvo owner. In this case it might be prudent to not be the first on your block to own one. Any new model will have some unexpected issues. Presumably that's one reason why they come out with new model years. I think I'll wait and see before I jump in or runaway to another maker.
