We've replaced one TP sensor, ever. I don't know what the weather is like in your neck of the woods, but it just got "freakin" cold here in North FLORIDA. When the weather gets very cold, and strange things start happening on your car, think back to science class...cold = contraction; hot = expansion. I'd probably check the connector on the TP sensor, and the body grounds for said TP sensor before replacing it. Cleaning and electromotive greasing a connector and cleaning and tightening grounds often times fixes a problem.
Just my two cents,
Chris
