Just afollow up, re my transmission problem. My Volvo dealer says that it is not the PNP switch, he says that it is probably some valves or solenoids in the gearbox. They flushed the gearbox to find that the liquid was full of bits, they then refilled it and tried the car, it was ok for about 5 miles then the same problem came back again and the car would not engage a gear, they claim that the gearbox will probably have to be changed. Last resort is that on Monday they are going to check some sort of valves that are outside the gearbox. Any ideas anyone as this will end up costing me about Usd 900 in labour to remove and refit the gearbox, plus about Usd 600 for a second hand gearbox from England, plus about Usd 300 to ship to here (Malta). Incidentally there are no other T5's on the island, that why I have to get one improted.Any suggestions?
Thanks for al your help.
Regards
Stretch.
