Two weeks with this car and here's the list so far....

Last night our (new to us) '01 XC70 began flashing its oil light and the message on the computer read out flashed something like "low oil pressure - move to safe place and turn off engine. " We had been waiting at an idle at the airport arrivals for ten minutes or so. We had to move the car into the garage, but the indicator did not come back once the car had been moved. Is this a normal occurrance after an extended period of idleing? I checked the oil and the level was normal. I'm sure it's one of those TSB things the dealer will never admit to having any knowledge of.

We have found alot of squeeks and rattles from the dash, sunroof, and rear seat area. The brakes are beginning to act as though the rotors are warping. The dealer won't be able to hide from that.

The transmission seems to make a third (rpm) noise between shifts. It sounds like the engine of a manual would as you go between gears. (one pitch for 1st, another as you are clutching and another lower in the next gear) With every other auto I have driven, the engine makes only one change in sound (rpms) as it shifts to the next gear. Is this normal for this car?

Thankfully the car is certified and waranteed for another 2 1/2 years or 100k, whichever comes first, but what a pain to go to the dealer! Any one have experience with any of the above issues?
