Back brake rotors not wearing at all, hardly. Normal? 850 1997

I drive a 97 GLT wagon, and am easy on the brake pedal. The car has 63K miles on it, and is on its second set of front rotors, which still have about a year's life in them the way I drive. The back rotors I know have never been changed out. You can run your finger over the edge and feel hardly any wear. At this rate they would last 100K. However, when you look at them, you can see streaking, rusting and pitting on the surface. They're not as shiny smooth as the front ones. Makes me wonder if they're doing their job in helping slow the car down when you step on the brake pedal. If this is normal, I can see why the front ones wear out so fast. It's because the back ones aren't doing as much as they could. I don't suppose there's any way the line pressure can be regulated to the back so they grip harder, is there? I would guess no, because it would be too easy to cause an accident if you weren't careful. Dick
