After having the car in perfect shape, and fixing the turbo return line oil leak this past january, another oil leak has sprung up. This one leaks more oil than before, which was more like 6-7 quarter size droplets near the rear of the engine. This current leak is more like a very small puddle, about 4 inch round (approx) near the driver side, near the front axles. When I pulled out of the garage every 3 ft or so, there was half dollar size droplet for about 40ft also.
Since this car is '95 850 turbo, are the rear main seals suspect here?
Are the rear main seals even an issue in turbo vehicles or is it more a regular 850 issue?
The oil leaks are the worst since they mess your garage, your driveway, and really make owning a volvo very displeasing. However, the car runs like a dream even with 137,000 miles on it.
What other leaking culprints might there be?
Thanks,
Lunchman
